◆ Portland's First & Foremost School for the Art of Burlesque ◆
Be introduced to the art of burlesque with the Rose City School of Burlesque's Spring 101 session! This ten week course provides an introductory course in striptease, Saturdays from 4:00-7:00pm 
(May 17 - July 26, 2014 - no class Sat, Jul 5)

featuring established burlesque professionals as faculty:
- Zora Phoenix, Executive Director
- Fannie Fuller, Creative Director 
- Meghan Mayhem, Aesthetics Instructor
- Zora Von Pavonine, Dance/Movement Instructor
- BabyLe Strange, adjunct Creative Expression Instructor
and featuring a rotating faculty of alumna as instructors, including:
- Babs Jamboree, Ivana Mandalay

Burlesque 101 is the perfect class for the beginner. No matter your shape, size or experience all are welcome. Burlesque 101 is an introduction and gives our students a taste of what burlesque performing is. Burlesque 101 is a 10-week course that will cover the history of burlesque, creation of a persona, burlesque hair and makeup, costuming, bump and grind dance movement, as well as a recital for a intimate live audience. 

Students will learn a group routine for performance at an optional intimate recital at the end of class. Not required, but available is the opportunity to also create a solo performance piece as well.

Class size is limited to ensure a personalized learning experience.

A stunning compliation of burlesque glamour and play, The Fringe Benefits host an evening of laughter, antics, dance and tease. The Fringe Benefits recently returned from the Caribbean Burlesque Festival in Jamaica where they opened the festivities; now, they are bringing that island heat state-side for your viewing pleasure!  

Following in the tradition of three years of Fringe Benefits productions, Pardon My Fringe: Burlesque As F*ck releases a vigorous lineup of choreography and concept.  Exploring taboos, oddities, love, the booty and of course, public nudity, this brazen quintet brings the audience along for a celebration of the vices! All this exuberantly accompanied by the incomparable talents of satirist, pianist, singer and song writer, Kevin Hardy.

Founded in 2011 by Zora Von Pavonine, The Fringe Benefits are Portland's beloved burlesque performance ensemble, comprised of the woman who puts the pop-n-lock in the bump-n-grind, Angelique DeVil; the sassy sweetheart who puts the jelly in your jamboree, Babs Jamboree; Portland's Weimar Vixen,Claire Voltaire; the bombshell who draws fantasy from reality, Lily Le Fauve and creative director of The Fringe Benefits, the girl with the peacock tattoo, Zora Von Pavonine.

RUE ROYALE WELCOMES THE STUNNING, SUAVE STYLES OF THE STAGE DOOR JOHNNIES!

Rue Royale is delighted and honored to announce the second show of their 2014 season. On May 9th, for one night only at Portland’s historic Star Theater, we are thrilled to welcome Chicago’s only all-male burlesque trio, the Stage Door Johnnies!

Comprised of boylesquers Jett Adore, Bazuka Joe, and current Reigning King of Boylesque (Burlesque Hall of Fame 2013) Ray Gunn, the Stage Door Johnnies are a true entertainment powerhouse. Winners of Best Group at Burlesque Hall of Fame (2011), the Johnnies are known around the world as a group and as individuals for their focus on dance, as well as their athletic and acrobatic feats. They are regularly named in 21st Century Burlesque Magazine’s “Burlesque Top 50,” and are currently listed at No. 8.

Hosted by local radio legend, Daria (from 105.1 The Buzz), our cast will be rounded out by an eclectic mix of Pacific Northwest burlesque performers, including:
